Photo with the president In some professional news, I am thrilled to join the University of Göttingen this summer as Junior Professor of Food Economics and Policy! Göttingen has been an important part of my academic journey, shaping me as an agricultural economist. I look forward to returning as faculty and giving back to the community.

11 years ago when I moved to Göttingen as a graduate student, I would not have imagined that a day comes when I go back as faculty. I want to thank everyone who has played key roles in this journey including my family, friends, advisors, and co-authors.

I had an amazing 3 years in Switzerland working at Agroscope . I am grateful to Gabriele Mack, Nadja El Benni, and my colleagues in the Economic Modeling and Policy Analysis group for making my stay productive and fun-filled.
